During the course Machine Learning in Marketing, I acquired hands-on experience creating product embeddings from transactional basket data using Word2Vec. Instructed and supervised by Sebastian Gabel, we utilized a Product2Vec map to reach profit-maximizing coupon strategies. This is done using data predicting the next likely purchase and utilizing the P2V map to put discount coupon on the most appropriate complement/substitute to the product, only when it yields a greater profit.
